Wax yellow

Wax yellow is known since ancient times. The first mention of the product use comes to prehistoric times. Avicenna used the wax as a mitigating antitussive and expectorant. In the Middle Ages Kyivan-Rus was popular as key wax supplier to numerous markets all over the world.

Bees’ wax is solid substance of crystalline structure. It is homogeneous granular on the fracture. It has pleasant honey flavour. Beeswax consists of over 300nutrients, with esters as basic component, up to 80%, along with vitamins and carbohydrates.

Beeswax is rich with vitamin A, being essential for normal development of skin’s epithelial cells, so wax is irreplaceable for ointment production providing skin diseases treatment and wound-healing. Beeswax has anti-inflammatory, antiseptic and soothing effect.
