“Kyzyl may” polyherbal oil application in proctology.

In 1994 polyherbal oil was prescribed to 84 patients and they underwent the above treatment. Oil therapy was conducted in an attempt to cure patents with the following diseases:
- erosive and ulcerative lesions of rectum and sigmoid colon (32 persons).
- inflammatory diseases of the anus and perianal area (40 pers.);
- with injuries and previous operation experiences in perianal area (12 pers.).
We used polyherbal oil and oil-based liniment in medical practice as a means of treatment.
In case of patients with inflammatory bowel diseases polyherbal oil was introduced with the help of douche bags with the former`s preliminary dilution with ordinary vegetable oil (1: 3, 1: 5) and heating of the mixture up to a comfortable warm temperature. Moreover, subjects with affected rectal lower ampulla were treated with liniment and oil simultaneously. The drug was introduced out twice a day, the treatment lasting in the average of 2 weeks.
We used the undiluted polyherbal oil while curing patients with the anus diseases. The drug was administered 2-4 times per day, at least twice of which required preliminary anus cleaning.The treatment lasted in the average of 3-10 days.
Patients with injuries and previous operation experiences in perianal area were subjected to polyherbal oil and liniment treatment. Dressings were changed 1-2 times a day, the treatment lasting in the average up to 3 weeks.
We noted an overall positive effect of polyherbal oil in the treatment of the anorectal area and in perianal area inflammatory disorders compared with conventional means of anti-inflammatory and reparative treatment with other drugs (methyluracil, wild rose oil,buckthorn oil).
