Honey

Archaeologist researches show that wild bees were here over 56 million years prior to lowbrow. 3500 years ago honey has been already recognized as a medicinal and useful substance. Papyri say that it good to take honey in case open wounds, to “call for urination, and to make evacuation easy”. Papyri also describe the methods to treat certain tumors with honey containing agents. It was considered to be one of the best foods in the ancient Egypt. Beekeeping was spread among ancient Egyptians, Romans, Greeks, Slavs, Indians and Chinese.

Honey content is complicated, it contains more than hundred various and essential to human body components, such asglucose, levulose, vitamins, enzymes, organic acids, trace elements, minerals, anti-bacterial and other substances.

Honey has antibacterial, antifungal and antiviral action. Honey is rich with fructose; it can be used by people suffering with diabetes. It assists to get rid of colds and viral diseases. It beneficially influences respiratory system, making anti-inflammatory effect.
