As part of scientific research, FitOleum LLP participates in the Cosmetic Valley International Project – International Scientific and Implementation Cooperation at the Cosmetology Department from the NAWA agency, which includes partner institutes and leading scientists of the world: Dr. Dr. hc Günther Bonn from Austrian Drug Screening Institute in Austria; Dr. hab. n. farm., Prof. Kazimierz Głowniak from University of ITM in Rzeszow in Poland; PhD in Pharmacognosy, Prof. Alexios-Leandros Skaltsounis from University of Athens in Greece; Dr. of pharmaceutical science, Prof. Zuriyadda Sakipova from National Medical University in Kazakhstan.
This project aims to find innovative herbal ingredients with potential use in cosmetic formulations.
The delegation was attended by high professionals in the field of pharmacognosy, botany and pharmacy. The delegation members got acquainted with the full cycle of production of herbal medicinal products of FitOleum LLP: they visited the company’s production site, got acquainted with the production process and quality control of both herbal raw materials and finished products. The greatest interest was aroused by the inspection of plantations for the cultivation of medicinal plants located in a clean ecological region of the Zailiyskiy Alatau. Colleagues from the delegation studied and analyzed the composition of medicinal plants growing on the site FitOleum LLP: Vicia tenuifolia, Glycyrrhiza uralensis, Fallopia convolvulus, Hypericum perforatum, Chenopodium album, Haplophyllum latifolium, Artemisia dracunculus, Artemisia austriaca, Thymus serpyllum. , Urtica dioica, Urtica urens, Astragalus sieversianus, Myosotis sylvatica, Achillea arabica, Rumex crispus, Taraxacum officinale, Leonurus turkestanicus, Plantago lanceolata, Poa bulbosa, Marrubium vulgare, Veronica anagallis-aquatic , Crataegus almaatensis, Rosa beggeriana, Rosa fedtschenkoana, Veronica anagallis-aquatica, Salvia deserta, Trifolium prаtense. Plants of interest were collected for further phytochemical and pharmacognostic analysis, with a view to their further use in the development of cosmetics.
The meeting established close scientific and practical contacts for the search and detailed study of endemic plants in Kazakhstan, we received a large number of valuable advice and recommendations on the proper cultivation, collection, storage of medicinal plant materials in accordance with the requirements of the GACP “Good practice of cultivation and collection of raw materials of plant origin”, production and quality control of medicinal plants, herbal medicinal products, proper development of innovative cosmetic products.A visit to the production site within the framework of the international project Cosmetic Valley – International Scientific and Implementation Cooperation at the Cosmetology Department from the NAWA agency laid the foundation for international cooperation and further development of the production of new phytopreparations and modern cosmetic products.
